Today 03.06.2024 Bulgarian Post validated a special postage stamp dedicated to one of the most emblematic actors of world cinema - Marcello Mastroianni.The theme of the edition is "History of world cinema. 100 years since the birth of Marcello Mastroianni". Through this brand, we honor the memory and legacy of a true artist whose talent and charisma left an indelible mark on the world of cinema.
Marcello Vincenzo Domenico Mastroianni, an Italian film actor and winner of the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival, will be remembered not only as one of Italy's best actors, but also as a suitor of beautiful women, a lover of fine food and a passionate smoker.
The edition is limited edition and has a circulation of 3,600 pieces, of which 1,800 blocks on white rubberized paper with frame-like perforation and needle numbering (from No. 1801 to No. 3600 inclusive) and 1,800 blocks on non-gummed paper with UV thread, without perforation and needle numbering (from No. 1 to No. 1800 inclusive). The artist is Petar Chuchuligov. Face value BGN 1. You can buy a complete set of the two blocks for BGN 14 from philatelic shops or the presidents of local philatelic societies.
