287-292 were issued by Decree II of the Council of Ministers dated 27.V. 1935 (SG No. 124/5. VI. 1935) on the occasion of the V Balkan Tournament for the Balkan Cup in Sofia from June 16 to 23, 1935. The proceeds from the sale of 25,000 series (1, 2, 4, 7 and 14 BGN) and 6,000 pieces of 50 BGN were to be given to the Bulgarian national sports federation to cover the costs of the event. 293-298 were issued by Decree III of the Council of Ministers of 21.V.1935 (SG, No. 121/1.VI.1935) on the occasion of the VIII Youth Congress on July 12-14, 1935. The income from the sale of 35,000 series (BGN 1, 2, 4, 7 and 14) and 9,000 pieces of BGN 50 were to be given to the Union of Bulgarian Gymnastics Societies "Yunak" to repair the union playground and to cover the costs of the meeting. The stamps have been sent for sale at the post offices in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Ruse, Burgas and V. Tarnovo. The largest quantities are sent to p. etc. station Sofia - 24,000 from the low values and 6,300 from 50 BGN, as a temporary post office was opened on the "Yunak" field. The BGN 14 stamps not sold in Sofia were sent for placement in Burgas, Varna, Plovdiv and Ruse, and 5,112 were given to a newspaper expedition at Sofia station.
