On December 1, 2023, in the city of Plovdiv, Central Post Office, the philatelic exhibition "Christmas Plovdiv 2023" was opened, dedicated to 130 years of the organized philatelic movement in Bulgaria, which began in Plovdiv in 1893. The artist Teodor Mirchev, the Regional Governor of Plovdiv Region, Dr. Eng. Iliya Zyumbilev, and the Director of the Regional Department "Bulgarian Posts" Vachka Ivanova validated a postal issue on the topic "Fauna. Critically Endangered Birds in Bulgaria". In the presence of many children, Santa Claus validated the new Christmas stamp for 2023 with artist Georgi Georgiev, and on December 2 at 10:00 a.m. Ms. Pepa Markova, Ms. Bilyana Toshkova and Mr. Georgi Dechev launched the third edition - "130 Years of Organized Philatelic Movement in Bulgaria" with artist Tahsin Ahmed.
The exhibition "Christmas Plovdiv" features exhibits from the maximaphile and "One Board" classes.
