On 12.01.2024, voting in the competition "The Most Beautiful Bulgarian Postal Issue for 2023" published on the website philatelybg.eu ended. The competition included 42 postal issues validated in 2023 by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria and "Bulgarian Posts" EAD.
65 users voted in the contest, casting a total of 160 votes. The results are as follows:

First place: The postal publication "130 years of the organized philatelic movement in Bulgaria" ranked first with 14 votes or 8.75% of the votes cast. The publication was made by the artist Tahsin Ahmed with cartoons - Todor Angeliev and marks 130 years of the organized philatelic movement in Bulgaria. Cartoons of famous Bulgarian philatelists from the past 13 decades are depicted. The publication has a nominal value of 0.75 BGN and is printed in 3600 copies, of which 1800 blocks on white gummed paper with frame perforation and needle numbering and 1800 blocks on non-gummed paper with UV-thread, without perforation and needle numbering.

Second place: The second place with 11 votes is deservedly shared by the publications "140 years since the establishment of the Hydrographic Service of the Navy" and "Protection of wildlife. Black Vulture" with 6.88% of the votes cast, respectively. Both publications have been validated in Northeastern Bulgaria - the cities of Varna and Dobrich. The publication "140 years since the establishment of the Hydrographic Service of the Navy" is by the artist Teodor Liho and was printed in 5200 copies, and the publication "Protection of wildlife. Black Vulture" was made by Todor Angeliev and has a circulation of 3600 copies.

Third place: Third place with 10 votes each goes to three postal publications: "Bees and Beekeeping", "Europe 2023 - Peace the Greatest Value of Humanity" and "550 Years of the Birth of Nicolaus Copernicus" with 6.25% of the votes cast.
The publication "Bees and Beekeeping" was drawn by Angelina Konzova and has a circulation of 3,600 copies.

"Europe 2023 - Peace the greatest value of humanity" is a group of postal issues, part of the initiative of European postal operators to dedicate an issue for Europe Day in support of Ukraine. They were made by the artist Lyuba Tomova and include: a set of two postage stamps, two postage stamps in a block, three sets of two postage stamps with one vignette, inserted in a booklet and an illustrated postal envelope with an original postal service price sign.

The issue "550 years since the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus" has been validated at the Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium "Nicolaus Copernicus" in Varna. It includes a version with one postage stamp and a version with three postage stamps in a small sheet. It was made by the artist Krasimir Andreev.
