Pingyao is an ancient Chinese city with perfectly preserved examples of palaces and fortress walls. It is located in the central province of Shaanxi in China, and about 80 km from it is the provincial capital Taiyuan. The edition includes three postage stamps, a block of three postage stamps, four first-day covers and a special postage stamp.
