After a month-long lull in philatelic life, it's good to write something that shows that despite the difficult moments, there are also positive ones.In the period from January to March 2024, three rotational meetings of the philatelic societies from the cities of Varna, Shumen and Dobrich were held. The first meeting took place on January 14 at the club of the Varna Philatelic Society, the second at the club of the Shumen Philatelic Society on February 18, and the third in Dobrich on March 10.
The idea of rotating meetings enjoys great support among the members of the three philatelic societies. At the meetings, in addition to buying, selling and exchanging philatelic collectibles, regional and national problems and solutions in philately were discussed. Philatelists from Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse also participated in some of the events. The chairmen of all three philatelic societies - Nikolay Penev, Lyubo Iliev and Eng. Dimitar Chernev did a great job with the organization and implementation of the meetings.
