Preview On August 26, 2024, the Belgian Post Office will put into use 10 round postage stamps and a sheet of 10 postage stamps dedicated to the infinite "Universe". The artist and designer of the issue is Geert Wille.

Eight of the round postage stamps depict the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

The ninth stamp depicts the planets around the star TRAPPIST-1, located about 40 light-years from Earth. What is special about the TRAPPIST-1 system is that all 7 planets orbiting the star are located in the so-called habitable zone, which is an extremely rare phenomenon.

The tenth stamp depicts the great James Webb telescope, whose contribution confirmed the existence of the planets in the TRAPPIST-1 system.

Of course, we cannot miss the exceptionally beautiful sheet of 10 postage stamps, which has the shape of a large postage stamp. It complements the images of the small round stamps in an exceptional way.
