Additional information:The stamps, not sold within the deadline for use, were used in the Central Post Office - Sofia by the Internal Post Office. 332 were used to collect postal fees. 328-323 were issued by Decree III of the Council of Ministers of 31.111.1937 (SG, No. 85/19. IV.1937) in order to assist the Committee for the erection of a monument to St. St. Cyril and Methodius in Sofia. Due to the strong interest shown in the publication and in order to avoid speculation with them, by Decree VI of the Council of Ministers of 27. V. 1937 (State Gazette, No. 124/1937) an additional 40,000 pieces of all values were printed. |
