Additional information:In use since October 30, 1884. Overprint sizes: 21-22 - height 7.5 mm (two-line digits, type "Latin initial"), 23 - height 12.5 mm (single-line digits, type "novel capital"). From 22 it exists with a black instead of a cherry-red overprint. Less than 15 are known. There are inverted and double-overprinted stamps. Out of 23, there is a non-static defect in the cliché of the number "1", which is located in several positions. So far, five such specimens are known. Distinctive features: clear contours of the overprint, faint embossed print on the back of the brand. In practice, the relief is clearly visible on unwashed 22 and 23. Stamps of this type of overprint were almost completely used for pasting correspondence, unstamped ones are very rare. With the same plots 24-26. |
