Additional information:There are marks with a horizontally or vertically shifted overprint. In the event of a significant vertical displacement of the overprint, the new nominal value falls at the upper end of the mark, and the year at the bottom. In these cases, the stamps in the extreme horizontal rows of the postal sheet bear only the year or only the nominal value overprinted. There are also double-overprinted stamps. Of 80 there are samples with red and black overprints, and of 81 - with black-green, yellow-green and blue-green markings. The year "1909" was overprinted on 80-81, making these invalid stamps "Ferdinand I" valid again with the newly overprinted values. |
