According to the contract, the State subsidized the company by providing it with special stamps for the performance of the service instead of providing it with special stamps for the performance of the service, with which to charge for correspondence transported by air. Of the 50,000 series issued, 40,000 were handed over to "BUNAVAD", and part of the rest were given to the post offices in Sofia, Varna and Ruse exclusively for pasting the letters transported by airplane mail. The letters were stamped with regular stamps according to the tariff and were additionally charged with aeroplane stamps: for newspapers - BGN 1; for a postcard - 2 BGN, for a closed letter and a registered letter - 4 BGN. The first flight with aeroplane mail was carried out on the line Sofia-Ruse-Varna on 8.XI.1927 and back to Sofia - at 11 c.m. The company sold the unused stamps to sellers of postage stamps abroad.
