Additional Information ▼
In use since October 30, 1884. Overprint sizes: 21-22 - height 7.5 mm (two-line numerals, type "Latin initials"), 23 - height 12.5 mm (one-line numerals, type "Roman capital"). Of 22 there is a black instead of cherry red overprint. Less than 15 pieces are known. There are stamps with an inverted and double overprint. Of 23 there is a non-static defect in the cliché of the numeral "1", which is located in several positions. So far, five similar copies are known. Distinctive features: clear contours of the overprint, weak relief print on the reverse side of the stamp. In practice, the relief is clearly visible on unwashed 22 and 23. Stamps of this type of overprint were almost completely used for pasting correspondence, unstamped ones are very rare. With the same plots 24-26.
