Additional information:378-382 were issued by a decision of the XXIV Ordinary National Assembly of 26.IV.1939. (SG, No. 105/13.V. 1939) Part of the stamps - 37,285 complete series and additional quantities of the lower series, all in the amount of BGN 1,450,000, were given to the Union of Bulgarian Gymnastic Societies "Yunak" for the completion, adaptation and improvement of the Union field and the opening of the expenses for the fair. Another part - 7715 complete series and additional quantities of the low values, all in the amount of BGN 300,000, was provided to the Bulgarian Tourist Union for the settlement of its jubilee fair next year. |

Additional information:The Council of Ministers of 7.VII.1939 with the charitable purpose of collecting sums to help the victims of the flood in the Sevlievo and Tarnovo districts on 28 and 29.VI.1939. Due to the high sales values, there was not enough interest in the brands and they were almost not used for pasting correspondence. There are reports that at the end of XII.1939 the series was withdrawn from the post offices and the unsold quantities were handed over to state institutions - banks and savings banks, for sticking fiscal documents. |
