Wrong postage stamp "150 years since the birth of Boris Drangov"

How the great Colonel Boris Stoyanov Drangov was demoted to lieutenant colonel by illiterate officials and artists. This happened on February 15 during the validation of a postal issue (postage stamp) dedicated to "150 years since the birth of Boris Drangov". Due to the illiteracy of the members of the Specialized Expert Council on Stamp Issuing and the artist who created the issue, Colonel Boris Drangov was recorded on the stamp as Lieutenant Colonel.As you all know on 15.02.2023. in the building of the Central Post Office, the city of Sofia, a postal edition "150 years since the birth of Boris Drangov" was validated - a postage stamp and a special postage stamp.
Colonel Boris Stoyanov Drangov was born on March 3 (March 15 new style) 1872 in Skopje. He graduated from the Military School in Sofia in 1895 and received his first military rank of Second Lieutenant. Colonel Drangov took part in the Ilinden-Preobrazhensky Uprising (1903), the Balkan War and the Allied War (1912 – 1913) and the First World War (1915 – 1918). Over the years, he went through all the officer ranks, and in 1917 he was promoted to the rank of "Lieutenant Colonel". On May 26, 1917 During the First World War, Lt. Col. Drangov was seriously wounded by artillery fire and died a few hours later. He was buried in the yard of the Church of St. Demetrius in Skopje, but the Serbian authorities later moved his bones to the city cemetery. On July 20, 1917 Lieutenant Colonel Drangov was posthumously promoted to the rank of "Colonel".
Unfortunately, the postal edition (postal stamp and special postal stamp) validated on 15.02.2023. "Colonel Boris Drangov" is recorded as "Lieutenant Colonel Boris Drangov", which is a clear factual inaccuracy and an insult to his memory. A postage stamp is primarily a sign of a paid price for the postal service, and incorrect information should not be disseminated to all parts of the world. The specialized expert council on stamp issuing has not checked the facts about the edition, similar to the wrong edition "125 years since the birth of Ivan Milev and Ivan Penkov and 80 years of the Union of Bulgarian Artists" validated on 22.12.2022, which has harmful consequences.
The Chairman of the Specialized Expert Council on Stamp Issuance refuses to take a position on the issue on the grounds that the uniform in the photo of Colonel Drangov is that of a lieutenant colonel. On all his monuments and monuments he is inscribed with the title "COLONEL", regardless of the fact that he was depicted in his lifetime and in the uniform of "Lieutenant Colonel" and the explanation of the Chairman of the council is absolutely insane, false and shows clear ignorance in military matters. As an example, I can give the monument to Colonel Drangov in the "G.S. Rakovski" Military Academy.
